These flowers hang down on long panicles.
I’ve had a big sausage tree in the ground for 4 years and it’s never flowered.

Yes, I always say flowering plants, trees and shrubs will bloom when they’re ready and on their schedule.

There is at least one of these in the bay area. I saw the photo of it in San Mateo years ago on a plant board that's long gone.

I would guess it would grow in the milder areas like: San Mateo, Hayward, Fremont and Santa Clara. It’s a pretty tropical tree.
