One and only

Lovely to see and eventually taste. When we lived down the road we had a huge greenhouse and we grew a lemon tree. The lemons tasted so fresh and different from the ones you buy in the shops. When it flowered the scent from them was beautiful. We gave the tree a citrus feed in the springtime as it started to shoot out.

One fruit, but a very healthy looking one! Hoping you see some more eventually 🤞

I hope you get a few more lemons next year Klahanie. I buy a lemon now and again and when I bake a sponge cake, I sometimes throw in the grated rind and a teaspoon of lemon juice in with the mixture. It gives the sponge a lovely lemony taste.
