The Rhododendron collection at Stourhead is very extensive and there is at least one in bloom throughout most of the year. But May is when the gardens really are a riot of colour with all the different forms. This is just the beginning!

It is exciting. We walked into town this morning and it felt like spring even though it is grey and a bit damp. That would never happen in Scotland!
