Thank Shirley! I can't remember seeing any of the yellows still open when I took some more photos this morning, they are mostly purples now - but don't they light up when the sunshine causes them to open up &show the bright yellow/orange anthers against the backdrop of the purple petals! 👍

David, all of yellow Crocus I have planted over the years have disappeared, yet the mauve and purple ones continue to bloom year upon year. Perhaps a Squirrel has a colour preference?!!

In my case the yellow ones are the earliest in flowering & therefore the first to go over. The purple ones will last perhaps a week longer until the display is over for this year.

The Crocus are pretty much over here ... but the Magnolias and the blossom on the trees around us make up for it.
