Far too much Moss within the lawn.

All looking very neat and tidy, Shirley. You'll be feeling quite satisfied, I would be!
We only have a small lawn in the back garden, so ots easy to keep. The front little patch, not so much.

Ange, I would rake some of it out but OH says it's not worth it. Hmm, or is it that he doesn't want to do it ?
Klahanie, are they often mossy or is it something that has occurred recently?
Thanks Kate, it is dry this morning but with heavy rain due late afternoon. More Moss to come then!!

I'm with your husband, Shirley. I quite like it... And I hate chemicals so it always comes back...

I don't use chemicals either but just thought it may help to rake some Moss out. Mind you, it's very hard work so let's not bother!

Thanks for explaining that ... I saw some birds pecking away at the Moss yesterday ... for nesting material perhaps?

Rose, thank you. Have you seen the news re. the flooding in West Sussex? We have had no rain, just very strong winds and feel so sorry for those with flooded homes only a few miles along the coast from us.

I feel so sorry for people too! It must be devastating to see water coming into your home.
I hope your home stays safe from any floods.

I think with all this rain you don't have much choice about the moss! Such a pretty, neat growth, Shirley.
