I wish I'd done this 8 years ago. All mine are far too tall and enthusiastic, as I was bad at looking at eventual growth. Years on I am learning my lesson. Evison does some stunning clems.

Yes indeed. I once grew Blue Angel. A stunning Clem. It covered a whole border, romping through about 4 trees! Gorgeous, but ridiculously big! The Boulevard collection are perfect for me now, and I am so glad that Edison developed these smaller varieties that are very good performers. I might still have a go with a Florida or two, but so far the weather here hasn’t been much warmer than Scotland.

Yes, I now avert my gaze from montanas and their ilk!
