I think it's the amount of rain Sheila that has suited the Thalictrum this year and the foxgloves!

It's pink meadow rue, I've just googled it and about 3'6" tall..

Luckily there’s quite a bit of other colour at the moment Janey 🙂. On Monday evening we’ll have a few gardeners visiting … owners who are members of the local Open Gardens group. Hoping the rain stays away! x
