This is a rambler that just keeps on giving. Would you believe I but it back in spring and tied it into the arch!
The scent is unmissable and the style very like 'Veilchenblau' but longer flowering. Unco-operative but gorgeous!

It improves every season, Linda. The perfume now is quite strong. It's certainly a rose we both like and would use again. Possibly on a wall rather than an arch, though. Peter Beales site describes it as a 'patio rambler'..

Hasn't it done well and right to the ground too, a lovely one Ange.

The scent is wonderful, too, Janey. Now I have to 'go in' with the secateurs as it's spread all across the border! So have the clematis which should be climbing either side of the arch.

Thanks, Sheila. I wouldn't be without it. Certainly would have it again.

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen so many blooms on a rose before Ange....
