Thankyou both ... this was in a selection of mixed Gladiolus and the majority are yellow. Shame this is planted by the orange Crocosmia as it clashes so much!

I quite like clashes Shirley. Think of Christopher Lloyd gardening, tall plants at the front, brilliant colours clashing wildly...:))

Janey, that is so true, but even though I don't have a planned colour scheme, this is a bit too gaudy for me!

She's a whole lot better now having completed a 5 day course of anti viral meds as she has a problem that puts her at high risk. She travelled alone as her partner is on a deployment to The Falklands until October.

We're OK, OH has had a course of antibiotics and a throat spray prescribed today, so I picked them up on my way home.
