I am so pleased with them Ange, how they've come on and ate flowering now. They seem so dainty but have coped well with the heat and blustery winds here...:)

Alcea cannabina Hywel. It's part of the Hollyhock family, but doesn't resemble it at all.

I agree Janey, such a pretty plant and amazingly able to stay tall and upright without support.
