OH had been mowing mid afternoon, I'd been deadheading the roses.
I'd tidied out front and planted the trough up. Watered heavily front and back garden come evening..so dry.

How is your Dicksonia doing with so little rain, Kate? We are completely parched here. We water the pots but very little else unless the plant looks desperate. The cracks in the soil are enormous.
