Thanks Janey, don't know if you remember the website Plantify, but got this from there and it's been great plant (although stems did suffer from slugs a few years back) but I moved it and it's done well. Bought another couple which seem to have disappeared

I don't Jane, but will look it up. You've got it near your rudbeckia too. Mines just coming into flower. I moved it in the spring as it became covered by other plants and it's happy now..:))
I wonder whats happened to your other Tawny Kings? Do you think slugs and snails again? I've rooperii that I've had for years, didn't do well last autumn, so I'm going to give it lots of water for this one.

Hi Janey, Plantify doesn't exist anymore but I had a couple of plants from them which have done well, this one and the rudbeckia, Im not sure where they have gone but yes the slugs do eat the foliage or possibly shaded out. I must admit i still have Rooperii in a pot as not sure where to put it but hoping to get it in the ground soon, I need to make my borders bigger 😀
