Hi Karen, I don't know the name of this rose but it's been in for 12 years and always gives a good show. The perfume is lovely and every winter I cut it back to about two and a half feet. I give it a drop of tea left over in the pot mixed with some water now and again. There is a pink clematis grown in it as well that had done well this year.

It’s very lovely. Reminds me of the flowers I once had from a top grafted standard rose. The branch appeared just below the graft and I didn’t realise it was a rogue until it flowered. The flowers were actually more beautiful than those on the grafted rose! They were just like this. I never did find out what the rootstock was.

Dreamy Linda! The kind of view I could stare at for hours from my hammock given half a chance!
