This so pretty. My Mum had one that would somehow grow through a gap in the driveway, then cling on to the neighbour's white garage wall, grew there for years ... :o)

Very pretty Janey, especially at this time of year.

Haha Shirley I think they're almost indestructible! I forget about mine till mid summer when it's twined itself high amongst the clematis. Very nice to have for late summer though. My annual ones didn't do well with the weeks of dry weather, another annual not suiting the climate change.
Thank you Klahanie, it really is...:)

A vintage style, pretty sweet pea! Always reminds me of my childhood. :-)

I loved ours too, Janey ... just as well, because our annual ones didn't last long at all!

I love it Janey! I will have to grow one next year as my others didn't do so well.

Thanks Kate!
My annual ones had very short stems and then mildew Sheila, I'll not bother again.
Thank you Rose, I can save some seeds for you? My others were a waste of time too..:(

Lovely! That’s interesting Janey … we had two perennial sweet peas, one had deep pink flowers, the other had pale pink flowers, but neither as pretty as yours!
