Balcony, this plant is extremely easy to grow here in the tropics. It takes over garden beds very quickly if not kept in check.
Thankfully the conditions at my place (the poor soil and long dry season) tends to keep it in check.
I love using it to fill in spaces where I've lost lots of plants over the years and find nothing else will grow there!
I'm coming round to using more and more succulents at my place for that reason.

I've never seen or heard of this one, Bushbernie. It's very unusual, interesting info.
I do like it's form and colouring.

It's fast becoming a staple in many gardens here as a lot of people move towards more drought tolerant plants in their gardens. We've had a history of back-to-back failed wet seasons for around 20 years now.

Is the plant itself a type of Agave or Aloe Bb? The flowers really are beautiful, and very much like the ones I used to have in my garden in Spain.
