This is a difficult one to grow. It doesn't like to be wet in the winter, prefers alkaline soil and often doesn't flower. But it does have a unique form.

Such a lovely thing. Your photo reminded me that I had grown one here in the dry tropics quite successfully almost 15 years ago now. It didn't survive the harsh weather conditions that we experienced two years later however!
