One of the Caladiums that's been dormant underground is now rising from its sleep out in my shadehouse garden.

This one has been in that spot now for nearly 20 years and rises from dormancy without fail each year. It's an old friend.

I love the patterns on these, Bernie, and their fun names. The one that has stuck with me is 'Frog in a Blender'! Who thought that one up?? I think I would find all the TLC they need to regrow over here would be too much for my patience.. I may try them eventually.

Yes I think whoever names them has a whale of a time coming up with something new each time!! Over here Caladiums are relatively easy to look after, so we're very lucky in that way.
