I love these for autumn, sad to say though slugs have found the stems very tasty! Grrrr.....

That's right Shirley, I don't mind them lurking, but now eating the flower stems, they've gone too far..😤
They are always a treat to see Klahanie, especially when most summer plants have finished..:)

Yesterday I gathered up many fallen leaves and was not surprised to see so many small black slugs on them. They're all in the brown bin now, off to the bin lorry in the morning ... she wrote in a smug way ... :o)

This is a lovely shade ... tiny snails love to lurk in the Kniphofias in my front garden ... :o(
