Trout pond at Fontmell Magna. Can you spot the Heron?

Nope! Maybe I need new glasses.

He is pretty small in this photo bernie, but in reality he was huge! Standing with his head bowed on the left hand side under the trees.

Ah, now I can spot it!

No I can't, but I think there must have been fewer trout left in the pond.....

At first I read this as Fontwell ... a village East of Chichester! I definitely couldn't see the Heron.

I think I can see a blob which might be the heron!

I find it frustrating Janey when things I can see so clearly in real life turn into teeny dots in my photos! Human eyesight is truly wonderful! We can ‘zoom in’ so well on everything we see whereas the camera just records a flattened image. Isn’t our rain amazing? lol! Hope your new glasses are perfect. X
