You are obviously an expert, David - what an amazing collection!

Have you looked at the date on the photo? It was taken in 2016! I no longer have any of them! 😥
I downloaded several photos from that year & other years yesterday from Google Photos.. I have photos of Christmas Cacti stored there since 2015.

I've been growing them since 2002! I used to pick up fallen "leaves" from the plant display when I accompanied my wife to work in a big supermarket. Not all the plants in that photo came from there as they are so easy to propagate, some are from my own plants.

What a shame you don't have them any longer. I've only got one left from my small collection. They really don't like our wet seasons. The heavy rain, the heat and humidity combined are just too much! The one I have left is obviously the hardiest of them all.

I agree, Bernie, but they were taking up too much room in the kitchen. All the ones you see in the photo I still kept growing for several more years. They were in tiny square pots with next to no compost in them when I finally got rid of them. They were encrusted with salts of years of watering & fertilizing & looked terrible. Yes, I could have cleaned them up I suppose & repotted them in bigger pots & fresh compost but some died from overwatering & others I don't remember but I still had some of them for years after this picture was taken. So it's not like I threw them all away at once.
