Klahanie, is this 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle? I imagine it was quite challenging as so many pieces of the same shade! I have just finished the Native American Indian jigsaw that I did last year, one I think you also have?

At first I thought it was the French Notre Dame,Klahanie...it looks magnificent.

Thank you Bushberrnie.

Shirley_tulip, it's a 1000 piece puzzle. I like that size the best. I did 2000 earlier and will not try again. Yes, I did some American Indian puzzles before.

Julia, it is in French speaking province of Canada (Quebec)
The reference is the name to Virgin Mary. “Notre Dame” is French for “Our Lady” I believe other than that these two churches have no resemblance. Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal is known for for the unique stained-glass windows.
Apparently it is one of the most visited monuments in North America.I have never been in that part of Canada.

We watched the opening ceremony of the refurbished and rebuilt Notre dame in Paris...the rose window was so spectacular and the vaulted ceiling.

I thought it was Notre Dame as well. We've been there and it's beautiful. How lovely, Well done for doing the jigsaw.
Gerry likes doing jigsaws. He has a pile of them in the spare bedroom.....
