Pulsatilla vulgaris rubra

We’ve had these popping up for a few weeks now - always take me by surprise 🙂.

I love them, yet have never been able to keep them growing in my garden.

Oh! Well, we’ll see how they fare here in our little hilltop town that often feels very Scottish!

Well, I wasn't expecting to read that comment!

My Mum and a friend of hers could grow them, yet they were just a few streets away from me and I'm sure the soil doesn't vary that much ... :o))
