I purchased this very expensive Kohleria from a specialty nursery in Hollywood, CA. The seed was collected by the nursery owner on a volcano in Colombia. It should be flowering very soon. Photo taken April 6, 2025

This is a very rare plant from Huila, Columbia. It just started flowering a few days ago.
As a rule I don’t collect volcanic plants. 😂 Most probably wouldn’t do well here.

No, not cool, humid and misty enough for them here. They’re from high elevation. This plant is from 2,200 meters in Huila, Colombia.
