Thankyou Homebird. I've had this in the pot for three years now and when the flowers have finished, I cut them off. I feed it now and again in the summer, and make sure it's watered too. I'm taking a few cuttings later in June and hope I get a few growing. I took some cuttings from my ordinary Lavenders and they rooted, so I've planted them into pots for this year. The old lavender bushes will have to come out as they've gone woody, so I'll replant the ones from the pots into the ground.

That’s a great idea. I’ve never got any cuttings to strike, you did well there. I must have another go.

I love lavender, all types. I’ve tried French lavender but no success, it seems to fade rapidly 🙁

That's a shame Kate. Have you tried growing them in a large pot?
