That is a great looking plant, does it clump are do you have to worry about spreading?

It is spreading a bit. It has sent out 1 shoot a few inches from the main plant so far. I don't think it will be massively invasive since it is only a small bamboo. I will wait and see. I've had it for 2 years.

Chrispook. I like your bamboo piccie taken in 2008. How big is it now, or did the frost get it? I think I have the same type in a shady part of my garden. Paddy (the cat) loved to chew it, but the frost damaged it and I thought it was dead (the bamboo, thank goodness). Anyway it's shooting up again but is only about 6in tall.
