A useful plant, it is at its best at this time of year.

I've recently added this to my garden, and I'm hoping that it doesn't have a deep root system because it's to grow in a bed that is full of fibrous roots, (no matter how we try we cannot get rid of them, they are coming in from next door)!
Yours looks lovely Spritz.

Hi Silverbelle, it can't have, because it's growing in shallow soil above the stone bridge...so I think (hope) that yours will thrive.

It's been in about three weeks and is still looking healthy, so I do have high hopes for it...keeping my fingers crossed.
