White Nicotiana

They are prodigious seed producers, aren't they? I love these plants, they grow so tall and the white scented flowers fill the night air with a great scent...they compete with the four o'clocks. They are marketing a variety called "only the lonely" over here. perhaps they were trying to be politically correct and not tell people that they were growing the hated weed. lol.

Still hoping mine will get to flower before we get frost! I love these.

the nicotiana was late ...the cannas were late...just about all the lovely annuals I plant..whether from seed or bulb,corm or rhizome seemed to be delayed to the point of missing the boat!! lol. must have been the late cold spring we had... oh well better late than never, aye Gillian? BUT ~on~the~otherhand~~ I have an easter lily that is in bud...and the delphs are putting up more blossom!! hmmm???
