Gorgeous leaves, and such a strong stem, will it lose it's leaves in the Autumn Lori?

thanks very much folks... i'm afraid it will die back to the ground, Janey. Our winters are seriously cold...but it will be interesting because I'm not going to remove some of them...just to see if they will stand up to the snow.

Lovely! I tried growing these from seed one year, but they never sprouted. I should try again next year!

Fantastic photo Lori, I love looking at it from this angle ! You're so creative ! The trunk is so shiny and colorful, that it almost looks too pretty to be real...lol

Thanks Flcrazy! I'm really interested to see how it reacts to the frost...the stalk is quite woody so it shouldn't go to mush...but you never can tell. it would be nice if it keeps that glossy redness. I've removed three of the smaller plants as they were knocked over by the wind... the plants that they were sheltering (shading) seem happy to see the sun again. I'll be more careful where I locate them next time...
