Javelina

Yikes! Is that a wild boar? It looks pretty big!!!

We call them Javelina's but, yes, I guess it's the same as a wild boar in other parts. She looks like a pregnant female. We see them a lot around here but they usually stay clear of humans. They just like to come in and feast on the gardens.

I've been here for over 25 years, Skippy and this is only the second time I've seen a Javelina. Good shot!

Hey, gardengnome! They wander around in packs around here and even make daytime appearances: especially, at the train station and down by the river.

Better there than here. lol My one live sighting was enough! Sounds like their pretty bold.

Passengers must be surprised when they get off the train.

Oops! No passengers at this train station. This is a copper mining town. The trains haul mine related equipment.....Even so....it's a very nice train station....it was just added to the historical registry. I think it did haul passengers at one time or they would not have had such a nice building associated with it.
