That is fantastic, a neat organised perenial border and I do like the rising ground in the background is there a big tree there? just beautiful. Hope you enjoy this site as much as I am enjoying. We can read all the books we like but it is great having such tips from our fellow members. A hobby gardener, finds it hard waiting another year to see if one is doing the right thing! It will be good gaining knowledge during these long winter eavenings from other folks queeries!

Thanks.
There is a row of mixed conifers (dawn redwood, picea, Juniper and golden thuja, abies etc.) in the background that I planted. The tallest are only 15-20 ft or so. Unfortunately, in this property, I do not have any majestic big trees that I would love to have. The row of conifers was planted partly for providing a winter wind screen, and partly for landscape background and sepration of garden zones.

Thanks. My garden composition is still experimental. I am still struggling to learn the characteristics of the perennials that I acquire each year. Hope I can catch up with you on your knowledge of perennials. ;>)

Lol..., from the looks of your garden, I'd say you're way too modest, and you've already passed me up, my friend ! This picture has gone into my favorites.
