Last year's luffa crop

Excuse my ignorance but how do you grow a loofa ? Dont suppose you have any shower gel plants or shampoo climbers? Could make a fortune.

Haahahaha....! I believe with my luck with plants combined with your quick wit and creative thinking, we just might be able to become millionaires...lol. Or at least, have a fun time trying ! You crack me up.

Are they easy to grow? I can't say I've ever seen any plants or seeds for sale.

I know this.It is very good thing to scrub I think.When i was in nigeria i saw there in my nigerian's friend's house.

They are easy to grow Chrispook, but it is difficult for people in your hardiness zone to give the luffas time to ripen before frost turns them to mush.. lol

So do you grow your loofas for personal use...or do you give them away as gifts?

So far Lori, I've used one of them just to see what all the fuss was about, the rest have been sitting in the back of my bathroom cabinet, saving them for, I don't know what...lol.
