This is the area between the path at the side of the house and the driveway. Developed this year. before it was a pile of bulding sand and gravel.

You have a really interesting garden Chris! You are so lucky to have space and different areas to try different features like the pond and arches. Still we have to make the most of what we have to work with don,t we?!

Wow those marigolds are really putting on a show. Quite a transformation from your sand gravel.

Transforming areas like your gravel patch gives a special satisfaction, doesn't it? You've done a great job... this is only year 1! What's on the list for additions to it next year?

I've jus planted a nice lot of Spring bulbs and a few sapling hibiscus. It's got a couple of dogwood in there and a cotoneaster and some Hollyhocks which are looking big now so I think it will fill up. I'ts not a high priority area, just the bit that we walk past on the way to the car, so I probably won't do much more to it.
