Thunbergia mysorensis - Clock Vine

This is a very interesting vine. It blooms most of the year in San Diego like most of the many other Thunbergia species. They can grown 60 to 80 feet in two years here...literally taking over your house. No kidding! I have seen this happen with many other species of Thunbegia.

Can't find out why the name Clock Vine ~
maybe because it grows so fast?
Apparently it's also called Brick and Butter Vine and Dolls' Shoes.
