Ficus rubiginosa - Rusty Fig

A Rusty Fig picture taken at the Paradise Point Resort with many aerial roots. They are called rusty figs because the undersides of the leaves have a rusty appearance. The undersides of the leaves have a rusty-colored felt. It is one of the most common Ficus grown along coastal California...second only to Ficus microcarpa (retusa, nitida) Indian Laurel.
