Musa 'Mysore"

I took this picture literally minutes ago. It is of my Mysore bananas which will be ripening soon. It is amazing they haven't been scorched by the heat wave we've been having...the last two days have been 100 degrees F. (38 degrees C.). Generally, when it get this hot the bananas get burned.
This variety has very, very sweet bananas.

Im waiting for my Ice Creams to ripen Andy. I would guess early November?
Right now they are a bit smaller then these in the photo.

Wow and what a great crop there those leaves are huge good shade for the Mysore bananas . I seen a banana plant today in a front garden I ll watch out in future to see how big it gets.
