This is a wider view of my Mysore bananas taken a few hours ago.

I had another banana plant next to this plant which was further along in ripening. It blew down about 3 weeks ago because of the weight of the bananas. These bananas have to be tied to a pole or they easily blow down.
These bananas can weigh as much as 60lbs (28 kilograms).
