I was going to pretend that the photo was taken in my garden - but I knew nobody would believe me! It was taken in a park in SW London where these birds are breeding and living happily alongside the native ones.

I really don't know their country of origin, Marguerite, I just know that some years ago, people set a few free (or they escaped!) and they bred. Now there are a lot in the SW London parks. You hear them before you see them! lol.
