Thanks Zandra.I always think the cottage looks lovely in the summer months and will have to make the trip this time of the year to see what if any spring flowers are planted there...

I love this picture my mum did an embroidery of it years ago and I remember it as a child
I liked it so much mum and dad took me one summer and I loved it even more....
Later on Richard and I went back and it was even better, a blast from my very lovely childhood. Mum and Dad were always working on the nursery but they always made time for my brother and me even if it was 5 minutes when the ice cream van came round and we would all stop and sit on the wall dog an all lol
simple things are the best.
They had lots of lupins in it when we went.
Mum had them put into our garden to remind us of our visit Arhhh:)
