Washingtonia robusta - Mexican Fan Palm

This is the most widely grown palm in California. It grows and naturalizes almost everywhere except for the mountains.

It is a weed tree. I'm constantly pulling seedlings out of my yard.

Its a wonder it hasnt been a weed in Hawaii...not like A.alexandrae.
