Yes I had a look thanks! I would like to do a horses head, but I think might be a tad too complicated for a beginner. I liked your tubs, so might have a go at something like that instead. Wont be anything like as good as yours of course ;-)

very nice NP, did you make them yourself? - my mum had some real ones grow in her garden last year, her gardener thought they were death cap mushrooms which are ofcourse the same family, so i looked them up and they look nothing alike do they lol. these you have here are a real good likeness to the magic mushroom though, they could be real could'nt they. well done.

yes there made out of wire and conrete like most of my stuff.my seating area is up for replacement soonish as its wood and as per useual rotting after about 8 years so woods not going there again.i dont want the same job in another 8 years and luckily enough i came across some realy good wood.you know when you get a cluster of mushrooms or toadstools all different sizes.im going to make a quarter circle one of them for seating,a table and foot stools etc .i got to do it practical but still keep it looking like a natural bunch of toadstools .

1 Feb, 2009

sounds fantastic NP, are you going to plant around them with ferns, bamboos ect? i saw a great idea in this months Gardeners world mag, for making insect habitat out of tree branches, i think i am going to do this in my little fairy area, with ferns and all sorts growing around, i also have a fairy door that Treesandthings made for me, i am going to ask him to make me some more, think they will look really effective. Have you seen his blog about them? might fit in nicely with your toadstools...i bet a creative guy like yourself could proberly whip something like this in no time....i look forward to seeing your pic's.

erm no i mite sneak the odd little plant here and there but its all hard standing wear the mushroom/toadstools are going and theres an elephant chimnea in there.plants tend to get stould on there.ill have a look at ya blog.how do i find him ? take care hows the weather wear you are.i got some pucker pictures of the garden with snow.

2 Feb, 2009

you can either type in Treesandthings in member search, or could alway click on me, then on my favorites, then members and you'll find him there. and yes thick snow, about 8" so far and still going strong, me and Brooke just built a really funcky snow person, thing is batteries have just run out in the camer, so can't get a pic, of the final result. gonna have to go asda soon anyway, not looking forward to driving in this but we running out of things and according to weather reports could get another 10" in the next 24hours which will make it even harder to get about tomorrow, at the moment it is fuffy and not too slipery, but once it frost up tonight it will be murder. hopefull will be able to get the batteries while out and take some good pic's

2 Feb, 2009

surly you can walk and have a snow ball fight on the way and get more pictures to.the last snow thing i built i did way over size ,got my chefs knife out and made a snow woman many moons ago.i cant roll up the big snow balls anymore or i would be out there now.ill check out treesandthings thanx a lot x

2 Feb, 2009

lol good idea NP but Brooke is only 3 1/2, it's a bit far for her to walk to Asda, - it's about 3 miles away. but we did manage to go in the car, and we walked round to the corner shop for milk having snow fights on the way.
