Just had a look at the Cadbury World web site thinking of taking the grandchildren... looks really expensive... is it worth it?

Sal, currently £42 for a family ticket. You are supposed to book your arrival time in advance. the site says that 3 hours is enough - and it is! There is a lot of history, darkened exhibits (which might scare the grandchildren), a lot of walking. Apart from that one "ride" through the bean world, the free choc bars, the courtyard playground and the opportunity to create your own marshmallow based fudge dessert, there's not much more. We liked it because it suited us, but, even then, I used my Tesco Clubcard points to pay, so it was a "freebie". Although our kids really enjoyed it due to our garden theme, there were several areas that bored, or scared them. In fact, I would say, that Cadbury could make so much more of this attraction, given its fame, associations, and profits.
