Beautiful and looks great with that wonderful trunk in the backgriund...

During spring season you can find different colors, purple, white, yellow and orange, they grow everywhere, sometimes attached to the alive tree trunks, sometimes in a fell tree trunk or branch. It's amazing how all these flowers and plants share their lifes, growing together.

It is lovely to see them in thier natural environment, we just get them in pots here.

It is the same here Angie, their natural enviroment its grow up attached to the trees because they look for light, and it is not a parasistic plant, althouh most people think they are (including myself few years ago).
If you want to grow them home, it have to be in pots.
Thats why Xaxim species it is endangered of extinction, its trunk is used to fill the pots to grow orchids and other plants.

Thanks Flcrazy, I also love flowers and plants from our country: the wild roses in Iowa, the evergreens sharin space with orange birchs and the snow in Wisconsin, the tulips from Chicago, the aspens and, of course the magnolias from Atlanta. :o)
