just temporarily ..until it finishes it's blossoming...then I'll lift the rhizomes and dry them for next season... couldn't resist these lovely blossoms...what a shame to lose them to frost.

I can see you in your little cabin island, GT.... mai tai in hand...sun(lamp)glasses....and a deck chair wedged among the plants on your bridge....with a garden encyclopedia beside your canna...celebrating Sunday morning! lol...
I may not let these dry out...I have resurrected my growlites...and I'm creating my own little oasis in the family room!! (bout time we used it!)
I'm growing more attached to this plant by the day, Flcrazy... it's so sunny and bright...just what I need as the days grow shorter... clocks go back an hour tonight...now we go to work in the dark and come home in the dark...

My canna tropicanna is blooming as well and has four new shoots coming up. I don't think in my house it's going to get a winter....lol At least someone wont up here :-)
