I found this plant as a broom on a old Abies fraseri. It is named for my oldest grandson. The broom was found on his great grandfathers farm (from his paternal side) near Manchester, Iowa USA in 1994. Our oldest plant is now 5'' h x 9'' w at 15 years of age. Yours looks like it may be growing a little faster. You maybe giving yours better tender loving care.

Hermi, my plant is 8" high x 18", no special treatment, just a more temperate climate I guess, can't remember how cold my plant is though.
Can you confirm that Brandon Recker is the correct name ? as I sometimes see it listed in other collections as just Recker #1.
