There were many Black redstarts ticking away round the garden, this one found it's way through the fly curtain!

Did it get inside and land on your linens? very pretty bird...does not look like a species we have here.

Lovely bird, if a bit unnerving having it indoors! We get the American Redstarts here in the spring, not in my yard, but lots in the wooded areas with other warblers. I like the plumage on this one. Great photo!

Never understood the derogatory phrase "Bird Brain" - I think they are more intelligent than they are given credit for! He obviously just wanted to check out your decor.

Lovely pic. We have lots of Redstarts in our garden in the summer, but they've all gone to warmer places for the winter.
