Planted 6 of these to fill some of the space left by the Hostas now they've died back. I must admit, it's more the leaves than the flowers that attracted me to them.

Iv never Grown Cyclamen Sarah? i do love 2see them yours is lovely ,Are they a easy plant 2 keep, Do they come again or like annauls? :)

Hi Jac - if you get the small sort of Cyclamen (C. hederifolium) then they are handy and pretty easy. I have a little clump in the lawn at the base of an old tree stump and they've been coming for years. The trick is not to plant them too deeply - the top of the corm should ideally not be covered with soil I think. They are good to naturalise, so I think they'd be at home in your wildlife-friendly garden :-)

Thanx 4 that Sarah but i already have some of these all around the base of the Apple Tree :) Planted them this Spring as i brought them cheap cos theyd finished flowering :)

I totally agree. Sid, I hope you try some winter blooming C. coem. They too, have beautiful foliage and look great with early blooming Galanthus or Daffodiles.
