Wow, very exotic, is that a Banana on the left, lovely colour of the tea plants!

Yes that is certainly a short banana tree that gives out a pink banana like fruit, inedible though. I cleared this place of rubbish and replanted these about 2years ago.

Panther, this is a beautiful planting! I especially like this variety of ti plant.

Pink bananas (Musa velutina) are actually sweet and edible...there's a catch though. You have to wait until the banana splits open...then there's the challenge of getting to the fruit before the bugs do. LOL.

I grew this species of banana for many years...it is one of the easiest banana species to grow and usually stays below 5 feet tall.

Interesting information Delonix1, wow I didnt know that you can eat the fruit of this banana (pink), the bats seem to get it first I suppose. I find it a very attractive plant.
