A close up of the tiny scarlet flowers...they usually don't bloom this late in the year...however, with our protracted heat wave they're blooming again. They need very high temperatures to bloom.
I have four of these plants in pots even though they are a weed in my yard. I just pulled 10 plants out of the ground today.

Thanks...they do have pretty new leaves, even though they are weedy and very poisonous.
