I have never seen these before Chrispook. They are very festive. What size is the bloom? Going on my favorites...

It's also known as the "Glory tree" Skippy. I believe what we are looking at is the fruit in the middle with the pink calyx's left after the blossom. These wre less than an inch in diameter (sorry didn't have the tape measure with me). I'd seen pics before but never the real thing. It's hardy down to -10 so no good for me here.

They are beautiful.
