Another from my friends garden in Kington, Herefordshire.
If anyone can help to educate me on the latin names of the flowers I photograph I'd be very grateful!

Sorry I don't know the latin name, es muy bonita though, lol. That was my very limited spanish ;~) Sometime I look online to find names. For example type in Iris in your browser. I like to look under images to better identify what I'm looking for. Or perhaps look under latin names for irises. Here's a link for irises:

Tasteyg, I think I've got it now, it's Iris Sibirica not Germanica.

I have sibiricas. moved them late last season...hope they are ok...must go take a peek and see if there are any little green shoots... it's so cold outside today I haven't even ventured into the garden except to put out seed for the birds and greens for the rabbits.
